The name "Rachmana" itself is derived from Hebrew/ Aramaic/ Arabic, meaning "the Merciful One," often referring to God, and is associated with compassion and charity in Jewish tradition. Therefore, the Award bearing this name honors individuals who embody these values through their actions.
The Award is bestowed upon individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to helping others, fostering interfaith dialogue, or promoting social justice. Such recognition is the culmination of over 30 years of my consistent effort and impact within various communities & fields.
